  I don't know if they can get an industrial strength rating without even a glimmer of diamond plate or fire retardance.
  
  I'd call it questionable.

      Bah! Aluminum tape switches reduce playa-proofness, and the acrylic buttons mean you'd really want to use this pad barefoot to keep from scratching or cracking it.
      
      We used shock-mounted microswitches and polycarbonate arrows. The steel frame is a nice touch, but ours is welded, and has little adjustable leveling feet.
      
      Still, this is the nicest home pad I've ever seen, except ours. :)

  Their "industrial strength dance pads" are weak and puny compared to ours. We point and laugh at their small, sad efforts.

  Cute, made by non-players, using the wrong type of switches to actually play properly for any period of time, arrow arrangement is subpar and has no tactile hints as to where your feet are. Saw it yesterday, determined it was mostly crap ;)

  I always get really amused when people who do not play the game, or do not play in the arcade, make pads and proclaim them to be the very best ever.
