So, I know people lost stuff at the party, and people found stuff. Rather than a whole bunch of threads about it, let's consolidate everything here.

Re: The lost and found thread!
Mon, June 6, 2005 - 12:51 AMI'll start:
I lost my tophat. It was sitting on a speaker in the room with DDR and dancing and the kitchen, around the time the party started. I was going to wear it with the outfit I brought to change into, and then never did since the cake wasn't done til a little after the party started. It's black and felt, has a white liner, and says "ice" inside, along with some other stuff. It's small, since I have a little head.
Skippy lost her fire poi. I think someone in the cleanup crew might have picked these up (we saw them, and knew they were hers). It wasn't me, though. Anyone?
I found a hemp necklace with five blue glass beads on it. I have it here. -

Re: The lost and found thread!
Mon, June 6, 2005 - 8:59 AMI didnt lose anything but I do need to come by and pick up my cooler (large light green one) and my cocktail shaker.
What time is good? -
-
Re: The lost and found thread!
Mon, June 6, 2005 - 9:25 AMMichelle,
Your cooler and cocktail shaker are at the Cracktory. You should get in touch with one of those folks to arrange a time to pick them up.

Re: The lost and found thread!
Mon, June 6, 2005 - 9:53 AMI lost a lot of money on the floor...I don't know how much, but yea, it's all mine. ;)
seriously - I was walking around picking up pennies. I left all the silver change for others. If you could have all the pennies you found on the floor I'll make you something special out of them. -
-
Re: The lost and found thread!
Mon, June 6, 2005 - 12:26 PMI lost at least $27 out of my cleavage... oops.
I'd LOVE a penny sculpture CTP.. with a light if possible. I'll be in touch to arrange some sort of payment/trade :) -

Re: The lost and found thread!
Wed, June 8, 2005 - 1:41 PMSpeaking of which, it's a long shot, but did anyone find $31 that I last saw getting stuffed casually into my pants pocket by my own hand (and which might have taken the express route through the fat hole in my pocket to the ground)? Somewhere in the mile between the upstairs bar and my own bed it vanished, perhaps even on the Cracktory grounds if my karma's decent.

-
Re: The lost and found thread!
Mon, June 6, 2005 - 12:24 PMEep!
Your table.. um.. is that the big long black one? I think it's still at the Cracktory. You'd need to coordinate with them.
I have your (I think it's yours...) yellow bottom to the shopvac at NIMBY. -

Re: The lost and found thread!
Mon, June 6, 2005 - 12:28 PMEveryone - I messaged Kevin to find out a good time to go and collect stuff. waiting to hear back -

Re: The lost and found thread!
Mon, June 6, 2005 - 10:19 PMPretty much any evening after 9 or so is good. Although I'm still at work now and it's past 10.
You guys can call me at (650) 867-7883 to coordinate if need be, but usually there is SOMEONE there 24 hours a day.

Contact person at the Cracktory?
Mon, June 6, 2005 - 10:51 AMI don't really know any of the residents. Who would be a good person to get in touch with?
**crying in frustration over stupidity of leaving my goddamn new fire poi** -
-
Re: Contact person at the Cracktory?
Mon, June 6, 2005 - 10:55 AMI seem to recall that Jared picked up your poi Skippy. We thought they may have been the one's that he created for the raffle. -

Re: Contact person at the Cracktory?
Mon, June 6, 2005 - 10:57 AMHeather, I have the top to your stripper pole, it was in the back of my truck. -
-
Re: Contact person at the Cracktory?
Mon, June 6, 2005 - 12:25 PMAnd I have the rest of the stripper pole over at NIMBY. Perhaps a reunion is in order, prior to handing it off to Heather & David? -
-
Re: Contact person at the Cracktory?
Mon, June 6, 2005 - 1:48 PMWhare in NIMBY are the pole parts I will drop it off tonight.. -
-
Re: Contact person at the Cracktory?
Mon, June 6, 2005 - 1:54 PMThe pole parts are out in front of our container (the yellow, bottom-level one in the middle bay). Just look behind the huge pile of rubber mats.
-
Re: Contact person at the Cracktory?
Mon, June 6, 2005 - 1:59 PM>Whare in NIMBY are the pole parts I will drop it off tonight..
The parts are near our container, to the right of the top of that small stairway down to the other bay. The nuts and bolts are in a coffee can that we accidentally left at the Cracktory but will retrieve soon. -

Mon, June 6, 2005 - 3:25 PMSo how is it that I was at *yet another* party and didn't meet GXAOUI?
This must be the 4th or 5th event this year.
Or maybe I did and didn't remember? -

Re: Contact person at the Cracktory?
Mon, June 6, 2005 - 6:07 PMAh, cool. That shaker cup should be reunited with the top in Michelle's cooler and returned to whomever loaned it.. I believe that was Marc.

Re: Contact person at the Cracktory?
Tue, June 7, 2005 - 9:48 AMThanks to everybody for looking after the stripper pole for Heather and I. We will pick it up at Nimby on Saturday sometime, unless somebody with a nice big pick-up would like to drop it off back at Heather's place sooner than that. I think it could sit outside of Heather's cottage safely for a day or two. <hint hint> -

-
Re: Contact person at the Cracktory?
Mon, June 6, 2005 - 11:08 AMJared recalls finding them, but doesn't have them or know where they are. I have lost so much stuff lately, but this is the absolute fucking limit...
-
I found them!
Mon, June 6, 2005 - 11:16 AMAnd they're close to home. Yay for me, and Yay for all of you, not having to listen to my goddamn bitchin anymore... -

Re: The lost and found thread!
Mon, June 6, 2005 - 3:14 PMI lost my mind at DDI.
Did anyone see it? Must be at the bottom of the hot tub. -
-
Re: The lost and found thread!
Mon, June 6, 2005 - 3:22 PMthings i have:
ian's hat
nuts & bolts for the stipper pole
matt can bring them to nimby.
kevin doesn't check tribe as obsessively as most of us, so if you want his phone number, call or PM me. however there is almost always someone here between 10a-10p because of the car club downstairs, so you can pretty much come by anytime and tell richard, james or jeff (who work at the car club) that you're picking something up from the party. go through the door at the corner to find them, and if that doesn't work try ringing the buzzer at the door on custer st.
michelle's cooler is near the hot tub. is her shaker inside? -
-
Re: The lost and found thread!
Mon, June 6, 2005 - 3:27 PMYes, her shaker is in the cooler.
So is the top to the other shaker, but not the cup for it.. any idea whos that was? Marc maybe?

Re: The lost and found thread!
Sun, June 19, 2005 - 6:49 PMOK, so this is kinda late....but does anyone happen to know where the two boxes of votive candle holders (aka "shotglasses for the flaming bar") ended up? I spoke with Robin, and she said they were packed up next to the stripper pole to get back to NIMBY, to eventually get back to us, and we now have the stripper pole, but no shotglasses.
Anyone? Bueller? -
-
Re: The lost and found thread!
Sun, June 19, 2005 - 7:07 PMYes, they're in our shop at NIMBY. What would be the easiest way to get them back to you? I could leave them in a strategic place outside our container for pickup, or when Ian gets back he could take them to his place in SF which might be easier for you to get to, or.....? -
-
Re: The lost and found thread!
Sun, June 19, 2005 - 7:21 PMThere's really no rush on them.
I could always go to the fire jam tonight, and pick them up then....will you or Ian or anyone else with access to your container be there?
If not, maybe next week.... -
-
Re: The lost and found thread!
Mon, June 20, 2005 - 1:05 AMSomeone with access to our container is always there, seeing as we're the hosts! But like you said, it's no big rush.
