This thread is just for things needed by the bar. I am also including the people who said they would bring things too.

Glasses - Platypus Man
Cocktail Shakers - Matt, CTP and Marc
Coolers or big plastic tubs - this is for holding ice, bottled water, and ice for drinks. So they need to be clean. We'll need at least 4 (2 for each bar).

And Morley requested that if people could bring a bag or two of ice when then arrive, that would help out a lot. There's nothing worse than a warm drink at a flaming party.

    >>>Cocktail Shakers - Matt, CTP and Marc <<<

Don't forget - my shaker is still at The R - so hit up Alleycat or Erika if she knows where it is and tell them I said so :)

I'll go look for one of the BYB shakers in our burning man stuff also just in case.

Yay, cups! Please bring them.. we will definitely use them!
I'm going to snag about 400 cups minus 70 minus however many other cups we can scare up before tomorrow's costco run.

    Another thing I just remembered..

In all of the tables need, will there be at least 2 tables for the bar? We'll need somewhere to store and serve the almighty alcohol.

Just to be clear, I am planning to buy 4-dozen votif candle holders to be used for flaming shot glasses in various colors tomorrow at the flower mart in San Francisco.

If there is anything else at the flower mart in the way of decorations and such please let me know and I will see if I can pick that up as well.

Mission accomplished. I found four dozen slightly oversized shot glasses (read votive candle holders) that are clear glass and very boring looking for less than $1 each. I hope you don't mind the economy but the rest of the little glasses were priced from $2 each and up. I would rather donate to the cause a little more effectively anyway.

        Cheers!

Two more things for the wishlist.

We need two cash boxes for the bar.
And Morley would like a large glass jar (think big pickle jar) for the raffle tickets. See through and big enough to stir the tickets without them going everywhere.

Oh, and thanks again to Platypus Man for getting the votive shot glasses. You are a gem.

Actually, several big glass jars. Like, seven of them. As there are seven raffle prizes.

Plastic jars would be fine too. Frankly, for that matter, big gallon sized fruit juice containers (such as the ones the cranberry currently resides in..) would do the job smashingly. unfortunately, we won't have those available until *after* the party.

Those are good for the less popular raffles, so yes, please bring them.
When I'm at Fart & Smile today I'll try to find one big one for the flamethrower raffle. There are already like 40 tix in that raffle, so it needs a biiiiiig jar :)

By the way, the flamethrower is finished! Ian fired it off last night at NIMBY. I am both proud and jealous to say it is, in fact, more ballsy than Charlene (my bonefire flamethrower). Something to do with nozzle shape and such. WHOOSH!

And it's a work of art besides! I was jazzed to hear that it sounds a lot like the dogslicer when fired.
