Compressor?

Anyone have an air compressor we could borrow for the party? It doesn't have to be very big.

The deal is that the first bits of software and hardware for DDI are coming along, and if we had a compressor we could SHOOT PEOPLE with blasts of air when they fuck up while playing. If we shine a bright orange light in their face while firing, that might also be fun.

Matt also suggested hair dryers ;)

I have a large Sears compressor if you are interested. I would want it back in the same condition it is in now but it has a 50-foot air hose so you could put it someplace safe and out of the way where it would not be too noisy.

We have several compressors down at the shop. The 25 HP one is about 30' from the entrance, but 60'-80' from where I think the DDI pads were planning to go. We could move one of the smaller ones to the lathe room and run a hose up from there perhaps..

That sounds perfect! Assuming you're willing to do this, my next question would be: what kind of connector is on the end of the hose you have?

Also, I don't suppose you have any shop lights with stands around? I'd like to have some computer-controlled lighting.

Yeah, we got tons of shop lights.

The only problem with the compressor is finding a way to run the hose upstairs. I don't really feel like drilling a hole in the floor.

I've got a ton of different air fittings and adapters. So assuming you're using a reasonably standard (one of 4) quick disconnect, you're set.

That's good news on the shop lights. I don't suppose you have any gels?

On the compressor, I don't want to put a hole in the floor either. I assume that the hose isn't long enough to run around the long way? About how long a hose do you think we would need to do that?
