I'm continually amused by the fact that I hang around with people who are actually blase about lighting themselves on fire. Not the guy in the video, though- he sounds terrified! Why didn't he just sit still and call over the fire safety? Oh, wait..... -

And we're not so much blase as we are comfortable and knowledgeable - we have a far better understanding of what to do and not to do with fire - what its potential is. Most of us probably wouldn't try to drink such a large shot that's on fire...but huddle close around a mound of flaming puddings? Of course! :) -

That actually did happen at the fundraiser - did anyone catch it? It was eerily horrific. Thankfully someone had the presence of mind to put the poor soul out with the hood of the proximity suit... -
